Absurd Censoring in Battlefield V

Chat has always been a very important feature in many multiplayer games that focus on teamwork. Our bizarre times has spawned most weird "politically correct" phenomenon in EA's new Battlefield game. The chat censors words such as "white man", "lag", "nazi" and "jew". This is absurd considering it is a multiplayer war game that takes place during World war 2. I'm interested what will be EA's take on this and how will they explain or change it. I would guess it is to lessen toxicity in chat, but my presonal opinion is that players should not be mollycoddled and controlled this way. BFV is a game for adults and we should be able to handle profany.

Music video analysis I'm analyzing one of my all time favorites, Yung Lean's Kyoto. The artist has always been one of my favourites, although his new production isn't as good in my opinion. Lean is a pioneer of cloud rap -genre, and he brought in in mainstream. The genre uses certain style of rapping, very low energy and the lyrics are special too. Lean's songs rarely tell stories and you really cannot guess what comes next. "Milkshake with crushed up Oreos. Bangbros stick my dick inside the gloryhole. Burgers with bacon and quacamole, stick my inside her ye real slowly" go lyrics in one oh his songs. These super unusual lyrics are my favourite thing about him. This music video is bit special as visuals in videos often include low quality gif -art, early 2000's cultural imagery and drug references. My final task: Lighting realtime horror game scene.

More interesting part of my task are the pictures and the scene itself, but I will talk a little bit about why I chose this as my task and how I did it. I have always been both big horror fan and video game graphics enthusiast. Lighting has been my favorite subject as it can change the feel of scene so dramatically. I chose to light my scene in a manner of moody, ambient horror experience. Something that doesn't rely on jump scares but mysterious atmosphere. Old Silent Hill games are my main influence for this project and I try to emulate their feel with with adding something of my own. Building all assets from scratch myself would have been a monumental task, several full work weeks. That's why I chose to download props from internet and place and light them myself to concentrate what is really important in my task. Unfortunately, many textures were not good quality, or the materials didn't behave as I would have liked so I remade them.  My scene work is currently static...
